La Fiesta Mexicana in Reno

First time there. Food was delicious. Service was good but a little slow. It was Sunday though, so may be short staffed. Portions were not real large but we are trying to eat less, so agreed they were perfect. Highly recommend! Well be back.

Food was bland. How can u mess this up? I think they used Mr T's Margarita mix and forgot about putting tequila in the margaritas. Menus were dirty (didn't look like anything was wiped down). Cherry on top was the server. I won't even give her the satisfaction of calling her a waitress. NO eye contact, pretty much threw our chips on the table and lots more. The only good thing about dinner was the person I was with. Pretty sad really. He had heard it was good. Well, he heard wrong. Never going back.

We were seated in table 1. Very private. My seafood tostada and side of rice was good. The side of rice was overpriced. It was only rice cooked with water and tomato sauce. My Husband had a chimichanga with included sides. He had lunch with half the Chimmi left over from last night. I can't let this go, the rice. It's spread out on a dinner plate, about 1/2 inch high. It is only rice. They originally wanted to charge us $8.00 for it, but I asked, and they reduced the price to $7.00 . We won't be going back due to price gouging. And the booth is grungy gross. Food... Tasty and delicious. Service...normal. Price... questionable. Cleanliness...dirty.

The staff here are always friendly and helpful. I tried to get pictures but forgot and ate most before I realized. I get the creamy chicken enchiladas and my husband gets Mexican scampi #22. My favorite is 2 for 1 Margaritas between 3-6 pm EVERYDAY!

Order the tro fajitas meal $15 dollers. Seems like they cooked all 3 meats together. Disappointed that it was over cooked and no flavor distinguishing between the steak, chicken and shrimp. Save you're money and go to apple bees for there sizzling fajitas.

It took an hour and a half to get a to go order, but half an hour of me waiting for them to tell me they were out of pork. The food is always great and their Al pastor is fantastic, but my order has been missing an item or slightly wrong the past couple times. It wasn't super busy in the restaurant, but I know they do a lot of to go orders, so I know it happens. It's not the usual best I'm used to from them.

This restaurant was delicious. I ordered chicken taquitos and lengua. The chips and salsa was so spicy I could only eat a few of them before I had to stop. The food was delicious. It was very authentic. Probably the best taquitos I've ever had. This was the first time I've ever had lengua. It was amazing. It wasn't chewy and actually very tender. I would definitely recommend this place!

Service good, but as far as having large individual items your limited. For example: Chicken tostada, rice & beans or chicken burrito with rice & beans. Also small amounts of chicken in dish.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant because everything that I've ever ordered has been delicious - burritos, soft tacos, chicken quesadilla, menu, ceviche and carne asada plate. I usually just call in to order take out for myself and family, then I pick it up and eat it in the comfort of my home. I've had just one negative experience and that was when I was given a shredded beef burrito instead of carne asada - but it was just one time and hasn't happened since.The staff is friendly and restaurant is clean. I've been coming here since there was just this one location, and it was closer to the Little Caesar's Pizza. I'll take pics next time and upload.

The service and food was amazing! The red salsa has a little kick, which I appreciate because restaurant salsa is often kind of weak. We also had a couple top shelf margaritas--they were so good! The pic below shows steaming shrimp fajitas ❤

Terrible. They didnt get my order right or one of the other 5 ppl tht were eating. So two of us got the wrong order and they charged us extra without telling us there were extra charges

I have gone to this location since about 13 years ago. Their food has stayed the same level of quality in all that time. They have great meals, a bar, and friendly staff. I love their burritos in particular. Go to have a meal with the family, take a date, or watch some boxing or badketball with your friends.

Loved the people. Waiters were so kind and gentle with their voices.

This place is fantastic. Fajitas were great. The Chimi was tasty and NOT soggy. The refried beans are homemade and the best part of meal for me!

I've been here four times - the staff is super nice. Only once was the service slow - but I was just there last Saturday Night and service was great! Food is great and prices are great as well! Highly recommended.

The food here is amazing! Perfectly seasoned, with delicious rice and beans. Their taquitos are to die for and the chimichanga is not only delicious but also enormous! They have some drinks made with Tahoe Blue vodka, which is also a plus. Recommended!

Worst Mexican food I have ever had ,over priced for what you get or dont get the only beans and rice you get are in your chimmichanga and hard beans at that no cheese no sauce and could not tell if there was any meat in it .I was very dissapointed. Will never eat here again and if you read these reviews maybe you won't eat here either go somewhere else all other mexican places I have eaten at have been so much better Habeneroo

Friendly service and great look once inside. The burrito took thirty mins to come out after we ordered, the tables who got there way after us were given their food first. The meat in the burrito was not impressive but a lot of guacamole. Prices were affordable and free chips and salsa

Very good food.. You definitely get what you pay for here big portions!!! Only reason its not a 5 star is because they didnt really check up on the table to see if we needed refills and such. Other than that it was great and we will be back

Great Mexican restaurant with a full bar and good prices

I always enjoy dining at Fiesta Mexicana. I brought a friend who had never been there before and he really enjoyed it. Wasn't my first visit and won't be my last.

When you step in you really feel like you're in a Mexican restaurant. I got beef enchiladas and they were small compared to other Mexican restaurants I've been to. They were good though! The margaritas tasted flat at first, but after some mixing and a few sips you know they aren't flat! Ha ha

One of my preferred places for quality Mexican food. Arrived at seven, it wasn't crowded. I had a brother come into town and asked me to take him back here.

This place is gr8!!! My hubby had been coming in way b4 we met & he took me after we got together 5yrs. Ago, my favorite place for Mexican & margi's we eat here most times we come to reno. Very clean & staff are always so nice. Good selection of menu items, the presentation is very nice & always so yummy!!! Highly recommend♡

I love their super Michelada! It's big and comes with cucumber and shrimp around the glass. It's an appetizer and a drink. The service is fast and friendly, and the food is good too.

Finally I found an all authentic Mexican restaurant which is super hard to find in Reno. I highly recommend this place if you enjoy real Mexican food. Fiesta Mexicana will always be my spot and I will remain a loyal customer. Thank you for the delicious food

Excellent food! Very nice atmosphere. Always friendly. Even if you don’t feel like eating out you can call in and pick up. Good stuff.

I thought this place was good. The food tasted like someone’s mom made it and you were over for dinner. Reasonable prices and the service was good.
